First, it is not that simple; Spanish words are 'gender specific'. Take the word 'chico/chica'(boy child/girl child); it is one word with two meanings. Also, if you have a group of children, and at least one is a boy, they are 'chicos'(children). Next, if you say 'the boy'-'el chico'…'the boys'-'los chicos'…'the girl'-'la chica'…'the girls'-'las chicas'.
'a'-'un', 'uno', 'una'
'or'-'o'(pronounced 'o')
'and'-'y'(pronounced '[long]e')
house - casa
car - coche
key - llave(pronounced 'yave')
door - puerta

ah in spanish you don't have "it" everything is a he or a she, inanimated objects, animals, people, absolutely everything.
I think you should use a translator to learn words!
amigo-friend
go away-vete
I don't know- no sé
nothing-nada
beer-cerveza
food-comida
mean-malo
bad-malo
ugly-feo
pretty-bonito
good-bien
etc
if you're gonna say comida(food) you say it like coh-mih-dah
imagine an h after every vocal, to cut the sound and it would sound pretty decent, this is silly but quite true
